Dosa is a famous and healthy south Indian dish, which is served with Sambhar, coconut chutney and peanuts chutney,This is very tasty  dish and it is cooked by consuming less oil, for making batter of dosa we need to use white urad dal and rice in which is full of Carbohydrates and Protein. we use to cook dosa by different methods, like plain dosa, Paper dosa, Masala dosa, Paneer dosa etc, Today we will learn how to make Masala dosa so that you can also try this dish at your home, so come lets try masala dosa today.

Ingredients For Masala Dosa Recipe :
For Dosa Batter-
Rice- 3 cup
White Urad dal- 1 cup
fenugreek Seeds- half tsp
Baking Soda- less than half tsp
Salt- As per your taste
For Stuffing Masala-
Mashed Boiled Potato- 6-7
Frozen Green Pea- 1/2 cup
Green Chilly- 2-3 (Finely Chopped)
Onion- 2 (Finely Chopped)
Ginger- 1 piece (Grated)
Mustard Seeds- 1 tsp
Oil- 2 tbsp
Cumin Seeds- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder- 1 tsp
Dry Mango Powder- 1/4 tsp
Red Chilly Powder- 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves- 2 tsp (finely chopped)
Salt- As per Your Taste
Oil- As per your Need (For Frying Dosa)

Method  To Prepare Masala Dosa Recipe:
For making Masala dosa, first we need to make better of Dosa, For making better we need white urad dal and wash the Fenugreek seeds and dip it in water for a night.
After That wash the rice and put it into another utensil and dip it also for a night. now sieve the soaked white urad daal and Fenugreek seeds then with less water nicely grind it,then grind the coarse paste of  rice with less water.
Now mix both the paste with the help of water and make thick consistence and now we will mix salt and baking soda for fermant batter of dosa, now we will cover it and keep it in warm place for 12 to 15 hours.
when mixture is fully fermented then the fermented mixture is as double as before, Now this mixture is ready for making dosa.

Now we will prepare Masala Stuffing for dosa:
For making Masala Stuffing for dosa, firstly put oil in a pan and put it on gas for heat up,when oil heat up then put cumin seeds and mustard seeds into the hot oil and crack it, when cumin seeds are fried then put the chopped onion, chilly, ginger and fry it till then it is turned into golden brown. when onion fried put turmeric powder, coriander powder for few seconds and fry it. now in this fried Masala put frozen green pea, boiled mashed potato, salt, dry mango powder and Red chilly powder and mix it well with the help of ladle and turn off the gas. add mix finely chopped coriander leaves in it , Now potato Masala stuffing is ready for Masala dosa.

Now we will Prepare Dosa:
For making dosa check the better with the help of spoon if it is found to be thick then mix little amount of water into it, Now turn on the gas put a non-stick Tawa or Iron Tawa for heat, when Tawa is heat up then put the gas in slow then with the help of thick and wet cloth clean the Tawa,
First time put some oil on Tawa, Only for cleaning, oil should not be seen on the Tawa, after that fill the dosa batter  in a big spoon and put it in the mid of a Tawa and with the help of a ladle move it round and round on Tawa and make it thin layer of batter.
Now put few oils with spoon around the dosa. Let the gas flame in medium, when the outer layer of the dosa will be seen dark color and coarse then the lower level also get brown in color, Now on the upper layer put two spoon potato stuffing on the dosa and spread it with ladle and fold the dosa ,
Now properly put the dosa into the plate , after that before preparing another dosa on the same Tawa, again clean it with the help of thick and wet cloth,
while spreading the dosa on the Tawa do not let the gas flame on high because on High flame, it is quite tough to spread dosa on high flame, so put the gas flame medium, it is easy to spread the dosa on the Tawa on medium flame,
Now Rest of the left dosa batter, prepare the Masala Dosa in the same way as before. Finally tasty and healthy Masala dosa is ready to Serve. Put the hot Masala dosa in a serving plate with coconut chutney, sambhar and peanut chutney.
